🤔 Why Did I Disappear?
Project A was too ambitious to make progress, so I scrapped it and switched to a 2D project B.
Halfway through, I realized I was still stuck, so I put it on hold and started Project C.
Project C was a spontaneous idea.
At first I thought “I can do this,” but the more I worked on it, the worse it got.Again, put on hold.
You think I’m working on Project D now?
Nope, it’s Project E.
Project D requires a lot of time and needs to be done at a specific time, so I couldn’t make it happen.
The bottom line: I really suck at project planning. Too weak, duck (crying).
🎯 What’s the Plan Going Forward?
Just get Project E done first.
There’s a saying:
“Done is better than perfect”
— Now I truly understand it.
After the DEMO of Project E is complete, I will:
- Delist my first game
- Release a complete remake
- Give it away for free to everyone who bought my first game 🎁
⏳ When Will the New Game Be Ready?
Who knows…
I might run away again.
🤖 Will AI Be Used in Game Development?
Yes. No money, no talent, no team. If I don’t use AI, I’ll starve before the game is even made.
~~🎨 Previous Grand Ambitions (Click to Expand)~~
I used to resist using AI to generate these things.
~~> These works should be full of “human touch”.
This type of AI is trained on a large amount of unauthorized work, which makes me uncomfortable.~~
Of course, I won’t deny:
~~> If I use AI, the art quality will definitely be better than if I do it myself or hunt for free resources, and it’ll be more convenient.
I have no doubt about that.~~
### 🌗 Maybe one day I’ll choose to use AI to generate things that should have a “human touch”?
💬 Me, three months later:
Damn. Not using AI when I’m broke is just stupid. Can’t even afford food, and I’m pretending to be noble. I’m not making a game to sell anime illustrations.

Title 2: Why did I disappear?
Initially, Project A was too ambitious to progress, so I scrapped it and switched to a 2D Project B. Halfway through Project B, I found myself stuck again, so I put it aside and started Project C. Project C was a spontaneous idea. At first, I felt good about it, but halfway through, it felt more and more wrong. Now it’s also on hold.
You think I’m working on Project D? No, it’s actually Project E. Project D couldn’t be done on time — it requires plenty of time and a specific moment to start.
The bottom line: I really suck at project planning. Too weak, duck.
Title 3: What’s the plan going forward?
Just get Project E done first. There’s a saying: “Done is better than perfect” — now I truly understand it.
Once the Project E DEMO is ready, I will delist my first game, release a complete remake, and give it away for free to everyone who bought my first game.
Title 4: When will the new game be ready?
Who knows. Maybe I’ll run away again.
Title 5: Will AI be used in game development?
I’ll use AI for code, but I won’t use it for models, 2D art, or audio.
I’ll build the models myself, and acquire 2D art and audio through purchases or free open-source works.
Why this decision?
Because code is very “open source”. Essentially, when programmers publish their code, it’s like saying “feel free to use it.”
Moreover, the most open sources are official API manuals/documentation/examples. Other programmers’ code is also written referencing publicly available official materials.
To me, AI is more like a search engine than a generator.
For 3D models, 2D art, audio, etc., I’m more resistant to using AI to generate them. These works should be full of “human touch”.
This type of AI is trained on a large amount of unauthorized work, which makes me uncomfortable.
Of course, if I use these AI tools, the game’s art will definitely look better than if I slowly do it myself or find free resources, and it’ll be more convenient — I have no doubt about that.
Maybe one day I’ll choose to use AI to generate things that should have a “human touch”?
Me, three months later: Damn. Not using AI when I’m broke is just stupid. Can’t even afford food, and I’m pretending to be noble. I’m not making a game to sell anime illustrations.
